Workshops

Since 2017, I have created and led various art, artistic research and experiential workshops for young people, teenagers and children, in the field of visual art, audiovisual and dérive-related practices and workshops of butoh dance and body awareness.

2024 – Creation and conduction of SPIRIT AND FORM: Movement and imagination training, a three-days workshop with butoh dance and body awareness practices, Tranås at the Fringe festival, Tranås (Sweden)

 

2024 – Creation and conduction of Spaesamenti, a creative-experiential workshop of dérive and narration of the space, Piattaforma Lago, Revine Lago (Italy)

 

2021 – atelierista at Villa Villacolle, parental education project with Montessori Method, Milano (Italy)

 

2020 - Creation and conduction of a theoretical and practical workshop of intuitive video editing with found footage for 17 and 18 years old teenagers, Holavedsgymnasiet (referent teacher: Åsa Scharff), Tranås (Sweden)

 

2019 – Creation and conduction of a creative-experiential workshop of two days about food and nutrition for 6 and 7 years old children, ICS International School, Milano (Italy)

2019 – Creation and conduction of a ludic-artistic workshop for 8-10 years old Azeri children, within the project "Little Yarat, Yarat, Baku (Azerbaijan)

2017/2018 – Creation and conduction of a series of art workshops ("Psychogeography Studio", "Video Poetry Studio", "Storytelling Studio") within the project “KonstRazzia” (experimental project of art education, funded by Jönköping Region and Kultivera), for young art students from Jönköping county's folkhögskolor (Sweden)

For children, the interaction with matter is a process made of continuous defeats, victories, discoveries and wonder. For 6-10 yo children, I lead workshops and activities that make use of various techniques and materials (watercolour, tempera colours, pastels, collage, papier-mâché, paper, cardboard, assembly, cutting).

I often associate the imaginative aspect with the discovery of materials and tools, proposing activities inspired by stories and myths from every era and every place. After exploring traditional art from various countries around the world, this year the children are working on traditional Greek and Minoan myths.

Research and creation processes in the artistic field are ways of self-discovery and can be tools for dialogue with one's own soul and with the Anima Mundi. The psychogeographic drift, storytelling, video editing used as an intuitive poetic/associative tool, are all practices that lead us to develop an intimate and personal dialogue with the reality that surrounds us and with our inner worlds. In these workshops, I proposed research practices aimed at opening up to the synchronicities in the creative process.
